Sunpure, South India's largest edible oil brand, launched turmeric powder, coriander powder, and red chilli powder to mark its entry into the Rs 25,000 crore branded spices market. The company plans to unveil its blended spice mixes and new product categories like pulses, grains, and dry fruits.
The newly launched spices will be available this month across retail stores in Mysore and additional key markets in the coming months.
Sunpure spices are produced from pure herbs handpicked from farms that embrace sustainable farming practices. Spices retain their natural colour, flavour and aroma as they do not have any artificial flavours, artificial colours, or added preservatives.
The spices are also processed carefully to retain the bioactive component like curcumin in turmeric, capsaicin in chilli, and essential oil in coriander. They are carefully graded, scientifically processed, and hygienically packed following the quality parameters of the FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GHP (Good Hygiene Practice), ensuring food quality and safety throughout the food supply chain.
