PNB Housing Finance Ltd. and Aadhar Housing Finance Ltd. have launched their first branch in Guwahati, Assam, marking their entry into the North East region. This expansion aims to enhance affordable housing solutions and promote financial inclusion, aligning with the government’s ‘Housing for All’ mission and the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).
Focused on fostering homeownership in the underserved region, both companies will provide customized affordable housing finance options to bridge the home finance gap. This move is expected to stimulate real estate demand and support regional development. With the North East accounting for just 0.93% of housing loans, PNB Housing and Aadhar Housing aim to improve access to affordable home loans for both salaried and self-employed individuals, contributing significantly to the region’s economic growth and financial inclusion.
