Reflecting India’s growing poker talent and increasing female participation, PokerBaazi has appointed Gunisha Sinha as its latest Game Ambassador, also known as a Team Pro. Gunisha rose to prominence after winning The Circuit: Season 3, India’s premier poker reality show, and now joins esteemed Indian players like Abhishek Goindi, Zarvan Tumboli, and Laksh Pal Singh on the PokerBaazi Team Pro roster.
A qualified dentist and trained classical musician, Gunisha is among the educated professionals reshaping the perception of poker in India. Her shift from a clinical career to competitive poker highlights the game’s status as a mind sport requiring strategy, focus, emotional control, and decision-making under pressure.
Gunisha’s career highlights include a podium finish at PokerBaazi’s flagship Game Changer tournament, strong international performances in Cambodia, a deep run at the World Series of Poker (WSOP), and winning The Circuit: Season 3 by outplaying India’s top professionals in Vietnam. She is set to compete at WSOP 2025 in Las Vegas, showcasing her rapid rise and global ambitions.
