This World Environment Day, Mia by Tanishq, one of India’s leading fine jewellery brands, is launching the ‘Trees for Leopards’ campaign as part of its Gold For Good pledge to support wildlife conservation in Uttarakhand.
From May 27 to June 8, every purchase at Mia stores will result in a tree being planted in the customer’s name to help restore leopard habitats in Grow-Trees, Uttarakhand. This initiative allows customers to combine their love for jewellery with a commitment to environmental conservation.
Mia also focuses on sustainability by using recycled gold in most of its jewellery, minimizing the ecological impact of mining. The brand promotes responsible sourcing and eco-friendly production practices.
Titan’s jewellery division, including Mia, is also targeting carbon neutrality and water positivity in manufacturing, supported by a 4-P framework—People, Place, Process & Planet—to maintain high sustainability standards among its vendors.
