IndiGo, India’s largest airline, is set to launch its first non-stop European routes from Mumbai to Manchester (starting July 1, 2025) and Amsterdam (from July 2). These flights, operated thrice weekly on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, mark the airline’s foray into long-haul international travel, offering enhanced comfort and complimentary meals onboard.
This expansion reflects IndiGo’s strategy to meet growing India-Europe travel demand and strengthen its global presence while staying true to its affordable and efficient service model.
Bookings are now open on goIndiGo.in, the app, and with travel partners. To generate buzz, the airline’s witty tweet — “We’ll be in Manchester on 1st July. Anyone wants anything?” — went viral, prompting fun replies from major Indian brands. Social media campaigns like “Amsterdam 6E Tours” added to the excitement around IndiGo’s European debut.
