K J Somaiya Hospital introduces SehatKaTeeka Campaign for Women's Health

To mark Women’s Day, K J Somaiya Hospital & Research Centre, a leading multi-specialty hospital in India, has launched the ‘SehatKaTeeka’ campaign to raise awareness about women’s health. This month-long initiative aims to address the rising concerns of cancer and lifestyle-related diseases among women, largely due to a lack of awareness.

Studies indicate that India could witness over 50,000 new breast cancer cases annually in the next decade, while 3 in 5 women are at risk of anaemia. Recognizing these alarming trends, the hospital will offer exclusive health packages for women, encouraging early testing. Additionally, awareness sessions will be conducted for female doctors, medical staff, and healthcare professionals, reinforcing the importance of preventive healthcare.
