Introduction:

Digital Media is a vast field. It targets a vast audience. The web, the social platforms and the mobile audience are just a few major aspects of that massiveness. To be able to reach such a huge base requires a lot of parameters to be twisted and fixed in a particular angle.

Information Technology is an element of Digital Media industry.

The field of IT is a diverse one. There are many opportunities and a lot of scope in this field.

As business and the disciplines of information technology (IT) become more and more intertwined, MBA in IT is becoming an increasingly important qualification for the industry as a whole.

Course Objective:

The content that goes on the internet is never just the matter. It requires grooming. It requires tinkering. Most of all, it requires to be optimized to fit a particular norm, be it any specific type of audience or any specific type of motive. The aim of this course is to prepare you and thus enable you to either create or optimize the media to suit a specific purpose.

Digital media, in its standard definition, is any medium of expression that is available in a machine readable format. In terms of a course, Digital Media is the study of all media distribution platforms and their influences and control.

The power to handle the production & distribution techniques of digital media in association with the new Information technologies is what this course tries to merge with your very inner conscience.

Eligibility Criterion

The course requires every candidate to have a graduation degree in the least. However, this stands as the minimum stated criteria. Any candidate with a higher education in the field or in another field bearing similarities to this one can apply for the programme just as easily.

Programme Length

The course is scheduled to take up a time of two year. The subjects and sessions have been designed as per the two year deadline and hence, carry a distributed sense among themselves.

Examination and Certification

An evaluation is scheduled at the end of each semester after the completion of the semester wise course. The candidates who qualify this examination will be awarded the Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Media from IMCI and Masters of Business Management in Information Technology Degree from UGC approved University.

Programme Fees

The mandatory course fee of the whole programme is Rs 57,000/- .This covers for the course registration fees, Interactive Lecture fee on key areas, Course material fee etc. Apart from this, an examination fee of Rs 7,000/- needs to be paid later as per the examination notification of the Institute/ University.

Industry and Corporate Placements
